  • Risa Moody, Sales Negotiator  profile ›

I am a local person Bournemouth born and bred with a passion for all things property. I started working for Mays in January 2018 and love the close-knit family-oriented ethos that Mays Estate Agents promotes. I have worked in a wide range of industries that included extensive travel and a long stint in London, which I think has given me a good commercial awareness and great experience of customer service and how it should be. My degree is in psychology, so I am extremely interested in people generally. Nothing gives me more pleasure than matching them to the right property, whether it is their first purchase, forever home, or bolt hole by the sea. I have been back in the area of Poole since 2003 and have been lucky enough to put both of my children through the Poole Borough school system. I like to think that my extensive local knowledge of the area, local amenities and particularly the schools and catchment areas can help families make the right decision about where they need to be, particularly if they are coming from out of the area.

I worked as a Practice Manager for many years in a law firm, and this experience has proven invaluable in helping our clients to navigate what can sometimes be a very stressful time. My aim is to provide our clients with a seamless service from the moment they register with us through the conveyancing process to completion, whether they are buyers or sellers.

Out of work, I like to spend time with my two girls; we are all keen scuba divers and like nothing more than a holiday where we can all explore the underwater world.
